1. Year 2000 Compliant, the fitness of computer hardware and software as defined in the British Standards Institution (BSI) document DISC PD 2000-1 (http://www.bsi.org.uk/disc/year2000/2000.html)
2. "Y2K" means Year 2000 where used from here on in this document.
3. "Patch" means a piece of software known as a Year 2000 software patch, installed to overcome errors produced by hardware that is not Year 2000 Compliant.
4. "BAS" means Bug Audit Services Pty. Ltd. where used from here on in this document.

COMPANY DETAILS

An Independent assessment for computer system hardware and *popular shrink-wrapped software Y2K compliance audit was performed at the above address by Bug Audit Services Pty. Ltd. on 11 July 1998, 17 July 1998 and 26 November 1998. BAS documented the results of each system audited listing all known issues associated with Y2K compliance for both the computer system hardware and *popular shrink-wrapped software.

As of 9 March 1999 Drake Trailers has addressed and completed the installation of the manufacturers recommended software patches to achieve Y2K compliance for those products where the manufacturers Y2K compliance testing has been completed and "fixes" have been made available on all the systems audited. BAS will continue monitoring the manufacturers recommendations for all the products listed in the POPRPT reports on behalf of Drake Trailers. All the computers audited have passed the Y2K hardware compliance tests performed by BAS.

BAS will continue to assist Drake Trailers address future Y2K issues.

• Check the System Clock functions properly.
• Check the BIOS functions properly.
• Check the RTC functions properly.
• Check the BIOS supports dates after 12/31/1999.
• Check the BIOS converts the RTC date of 01/01/1900 to 01/01/2000.
• Check the RTC Century Byte retains a 20 after you power off your computer.
• Check computers for leap year date rollover (date after 28 February) up to 2009.

Y2K Audit Procedures (*Popular Software)

• Extract and analyse all installed *popular shrink-wrapped software.
• Determine and document manufacturers known issues and recommendations for achieving Y2K compliance.
• Supply client with URL references for manufacturers Y2K compliance statements.
• List all known patches and upgrades required to achieve Y2K compliance.
• Supply on-going updates for those products where the manufacturer has yet to complete Y2K compliance testing or have not yet released the necessary "fixes"
